Gods and Magic.   Statues and amulets of a variety of Egyptian deities among whom include the god of the necropolis and of mummification, Anubis with the jackal head; Isis, Osiris and their son Horus; and Bastet the cat goddess are displayed here. Mummies of fish, cats, crocodiles, baboons etc provide evidence of Late Period cults. Guardian statues, magical wands and protective stelae used in magical rites are on view here.
